When Jag Gill threw his hat into the political ring four years ago, he was fairly unknown to the community.   He was a 23-year old entrepreneur, with a successful pizza shop already underway.  What really set this young man apart, was his political aspirations.  Jag saw the changes coming to our small town, and he definitely wanted a voice at the table. 

 

During his original campaign, one of his goals included collaboration with the community in order to achieve more positive change.  Jag’s original focus and commitment has not shifted. He continues to be dedicated to the youth of our community, as well as the future generations. He has also proven unwavering support of our local non-profit services, the upgrade of our public parks, as well as the introduction of Foundry.

 

In the course of his term, Jag has certainly kept his promise to be up-to-date on all Mission issues, dedicated to research and learning, and he continues to bring fresh insight to the council table.  Jag has always taken the initiative to think proactively about the issues our community faces.
